OUR EXPERIENCE
Our experience begins with Mark Uhlig, President of Ideal Surfaces, Inc. Mark’s father started servicing the countertop industry in 1969. For 22 years Mark worked for the family business – the last 7 as co-owner. Since 2003, Mark has been working closely with Cambria as a partner building the brand in the industry.
In 2008, he followed his vision for the future and started his own company – Ideal Surfaces, Inc. Again, he partnered with Cambria as a Certified Installer Associate. The decision to only install Cambria countertops provides you with the assurance of a quality installation on every project. Every one of Ideal Surfaces, Inc. team members has completed the required training at Cambria University in MN.
November 2016 marks another milestone for Mark Uhlig and Ideal Surfaces, Inc. with the completion of our quartz countertop fabrication facility. We are exclusive to the fabrication and installation of Cambria quartz countertops. Our goal has always been and will continue to be providing the best installation and now the best fabrication countertop experience for our dealers and their customers.

Through wisdom, knowledge, and experience our team has developed a culture of professionalism that has set the standards in the countertop industry. Our route to market is through our network of kitchen and bath dealers, lumber design showrooms, custom cabinet makers, interior design studios, and flooring stores. Commercially we work with millwork houses and commercial contractors.
